47 Reviews of Kabak Mücveri (Turkish Zucchini Fritters)

From: Mrs B

These just worked so well; they rate as the most succesful fritters I've ever made. Spot on for consistency (i.e. the mixture holds together beautifully - not too wet or dry) and excellent flavours. Thanks for posting, this recipe is a keeper.

OMG, these were fantastic! I used feta cheese and dried dill as I didn't have fresh. I can't wait to make these again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Absolutely fabulous. My family loved them. I made as directed and servered with the Creamy Cucumber Dip (Creamy Cucumber Dill Dip). We will be making this again!! Thanks for a great recipe.

This was delicious!!! I have an overabundance of yellow summer squash in the garden so I used it instead of zucchini. I also used about twice as much squash as the recipe calls for and added one more egg, a bit more flour, and a little baking powder. We had it as a vegetarian meal with tzatziki and a greek salad. YUM!

Holy cow, were these good! I omitted the dill since I don't like dill. I also rolled the mixture into small balls and fried them for appetizers instead of making patties. This worked great! Thanks.

These were so yummy! I love the flavors! I served with some salsa and some sour cream. I liked them so much I took them to a fellowship dinner(vegetarian) and they were all gone in no time! Thanks Cheryl!

Great! I used feta cheese and served them with a yogurt sauce that had a bit of mint in it. The texture of these is just right--very crispy outside, lovely and soft within. Thanks, Cheryl!

WOW! The feta cheese really lends itself to this dish. These were exceptionally good. I couldn't resist rolling them in cornflake crumbs cause- well- I'm just a rebel and will never be any dang good.

Great fritters!! I loved the feta...it made the fritters special! The ingredients were spot on, I didn't have to add extra flour or liquid. Perfect. Even better when they cool to room temperature!!
