This was a very easy to make and the peanut brittle is wonderful! I cannot eat the sticky stuff but this is so crunchy and does not stick to your teeth. This would be a great recipe for gifts and one that I plan on making often. Thanks for posting!

WOW!! This was the best I've ever had. It was light, crunchy, and didn't stick to the teeth. This was my first experience making anything with a candy thermometer. It took a while, but it definitely is worth it. Thank you for such a yummy keeper, Miss Annie!

Damn good. I added a pinch of salt since I like sweet/salt, and the nuts I used weren't roasted/salted. I agree with another poster that if using roasted nuts that you should add them at the soft boil stage (236F). Thank you for sharing, Ann!

It is an excellent peanut brittle. I have made it twice (the most recent batch is cooling right now). The time is way off in the recipe, however. It says to add peanuts and stir constantly until the mixture turns yellow, about 5 minutes. The first time I made it, that step took 15 minutes. Tonight it was just over 13 minutes. That's quite a difference.

I made this for the holidays and it is great. It is going to make a wonderful hostess gift. ( I always give the hosts a little gift, not only at Christmas). It is crunchy, but doesn't break your teeth. just plain excellent. I will be making this often. Thank you !!!

Well, I HAVE made peanut brittle before - 3 other recipes, all either chewy or burnt. This recipe was SO EASY and came out absolutely perfect! I was supposed to give this as Christmas gifts but I'm gobbling it up too fast! Thanks for the recipe and easy instructions.

I made this for the Christmas candy tray and - Wow! Easy, quick and very tasty. I cannot wait to try it with almonds or cashews!

This was great!! Very crunchie and not too chewy!! The spreading in the pan was a little tricky but very good!! Thanks for a great recipe!

I followed this recipe exactly as written and got beautifully crunchy brittle. The taste was perfect! My husband and FIL said it was the best peanut brittle they'd ever had. This is a keeper and I will be making it for gifts next Christmas. I know it will get rave reviews from my friends!

I just finished making this with pine nuts instead of peanuts. Oh, my!!! This is the fastest and easiest brittle ever. Definitely a keeper - for any occasion. Thanks, Annie.
