Excellent barbecue sauce, just as one would expect from the Barefoot Contessa! Wanting to try some new sauces for the upcoming outdoor cooking and grilling season I made a half recipe making as posted and wouldn't change a thing ... except the next time around I'll be making a full batch! It is really good. Thank you for posting this delicious Barbecue Sauce, it's a keeper.

This is great barbecue sauce! I made half the recipe and used it on pork chops last night and everyone commented on how great the sauce was. It's very versatile and I will be using it for lots of different things! Thanks so mush for posting this keeper!!!

This is a nice change of pace from a "regular" barbeque sauce. I grilled both pork chops and chicken with it, and both were good.

We had this on bbq boneless pork ribs tonight and really liked it! Once the sauce was made, we weren't sure we'd like it but bbqing the ribs brought out the best in flavor! While bbqing we brushed it often with sauce and it came out perfect!

Very good barbecue sauce. Used this to make Pulled Pork (Crock Pot) and it turned out very well. Thanks for sharing.

this is the only bbq sauce I have ever really liked. I do add liquid smoke and a bit od hickory smoked salt to it,. I am from bbq country, so I know from which I speak. also, I cut down a bit on the mustard and some times add a bit of red plum sauce.

shame on me, i made this ages ago and forgot to rate it. i loved this sauce, great flavor and easy to make. i cut the recipe in half and still had enough to grill chicken and ribs and keep a pint in the fridge. will make this one again.

Wow-Super Tangy, nice and thick, absolutely delish! I worried 1 cup of cider vinegar was going to be too much, but after letting it simmer and thicken for 30 minutes everything came together so well that I wouldn't change a thing. I might also try this with pulled pork for sandwiches, maybe adding a tablespoon or two of brown sugar as we like pulled pork a little sweeter. Thanks for sharing this recipe Ev! Nick's Mom ** UPDATED to ADD* We tried this BBQ sauce mixed with a shredded beef roast today. Served on buttered bakery rolls with sharp cheddar cheese, wonderful!

Too sweet for my taste. For those who, like me, don't care for very sweet barbecue sauces, you might consider cutting the honey in half.
