This was a delicious dessert; my entire family loved it (we had a really big dinner, so I just made really small servings and served it with vanilla ice cream)! I used frozen strawberries, too, and still it was delectable. Thanks for a great, really easy dessert!

This is a very tasty crisp! ... My first also. I doubled the recipe and made it in one pan. Also added a little more butter than in the recipe. The strawberries I used weren't the best but that did not affect the taste. Will definitely be making again. Thanks, sarahsmomi

This was really a surprise of flavors. I was afraid when I was making it that it would be too sweet and with too much of the 'crisp' because it looked like the baking bowl had at least twice as much of the sweet oatmeal mixture as the amount of strawberries. However after it baked it turned out to be the correct amount of sweetness. My strawberries were not as ripe as I would have preferred but the flavor was still great. It was kind of a sweet-tart dessert. It was very good. I ate it with french vanilla ice cream. Incidently I had to bake it for 20 minutes instead of 15 since I baked the double batch for a total of 4 servings on a cooky sheet which probably slowed down the cooking some but made it easier to take in and out of the oven.

This was a quick and easy dessert to make. My 7 yr old son helped me and he enjoyed being able to measure the ingredients easily. We doubled the recipe and used fresh strawberries I needed to get rid of. It was good - not great - but very good. It tastes exactly like you think it will. I would make it again if I had strawberries available but wouldn't probably run out and buy the ingredients just for this!

This was very tasty & easy to make. Doubled the recipe and made in one casserole dish. Took other reviewers advice & added a tsp. of cornstarch to thicken the juices. Thanx!!

This was a wonderful, easy to make recipe. I had spent the afternoon making homemade ice cream, which my DH informed me he didn't really care for. My MIL was coming to supper, so thought maybe I should go to Plan B for dessert! I only had one hour before she was supposed to come and I had only one egg (refuse to go to the store for the 3rd time!), so off to 'Zaar I went to find a good recipe. Found this and ended up having it with the ice cream. It was delicious together! I doubled the recipe and made it in a 1 quart dish and baked for 20 minutes. My MIL had 2 helpings, so it must've been good! Next time I might try with blueberries. Thanks for sharing!

This was a very easy, very satisfying dessert. All I had on hand was a packet of french vanilla oatmeal...but it tasted great! Overall it was sweet and buttery and very guilt free. Great recipe, thanks for posting. I'll definitely be using it again!

Yummy! I used light spreadable butter, 1 tbsp Splenda brown sugar blend & 1 tbsp Splenda. I also used rolled oats & only 1/4 tsp cinn. Wish I had fresh strawberries laying around but I never do-so I used frozen! I microwaved them for about 30 sec till they were tender but firm so I could slice them. I cooked the entire thing in one dish & spooned some warm into my vanilla yogurt. A great treat!

Real good recipe and not all that sinful in calories as far as desserts go. I recommend frozen yogurt as a topping when it is hot out of the oven! Really good and not too sweet.
