Wonderful! The kids love honey butter on bagels and toast and this one is excellent. Love the proportion of honey to butter as well as the addition of lemon rind. Cornbread, biscuits, pancakes..oh the possibilities! Thanks, Melody!

Fantastic on toast. I used 1/2 cup butter for this recipe. I can see using this so many different ways. I am going to make lots and freeze it, It is so good! Thanks Melody!...Kitten

Along with my children, I loved this recipe. The lemon rind really adds a nice freshness. We served on cornbread. Unlike most recipes, I wouldn't change a thing

I made a big pot of bean soup and served it with corn bread. We had the neighbors over to share the soup and I wanted to make a special butter for the corn bread. And I DID IT!!! (With your help). This was delicious. I doubled the recipe — but left the honey about the same (2/3 c). It was just right. The next morning we made Belgian Waffles and used the left over butter on them - outstanding. Thanks, Melin!!!

Made this in the morning to have at dinner; approximately 12 hours later. It made a wonderful addition to homemade rolls, Sourdough Dinner Rolls. Everyone enjoyed it and was asking for the recipe. This will be a repeat.

I made this to go with some frozen yeast rolls for a luncheon that I catered. The ladies raved over it! I didn't use as much honey as called for, two heaping tablespoons, and it was just sweet enough. The lemon did give it a little something extra! It was a hit! Thanks for posting!
