I loved the lemon and the simplicity of this recipe. I used frozen blueberries and they worked fine, however, fresh would be better. Should be fantastic with fresh strawberries next season!! Thanks again Dorothy.

This was so wonderful, I only had strawberry flavored cream cheese on hand so that is what I used with fresh strawberries and raspberries. Thanks!

Excellent pie! I made this this past weekend for dinner with two other couples and everyone loved it- one wife even had seconds! I used fresh raspberries on it and sweetened the raspberry puree with a little Splenda before swirling it in. This will definitely go in the "keeper" file- thanks Derf!

I tried it, as my mom has made this all my life. It's a wonderful pie!! We've used strawberries, kiwi and banana to top it. Absolutely wonderful!!

this was GREAT!!! The lemon was just right, and its pefectly creamy. I used cherries because my boyfriend is picky about berries. I purreed some and glazed the whole top and dotted the remaining whole ones about. it was SOOO good. I used pie filling ones, because I thought they'd be better, but they were actually kind of bitter. Just a few notes on what I did and how it turned out. I'll make this simple cake again, but next time, with sweetened canned berries!!!

Fantastic pie! Outstanding by any standards! It's easy, quick to make, beautiful to look at and what's most, absolutely divine in your mouth! And versatile, too, as any berries really can be used. One note though, it did not set in only 3 or 4 hours, mine took over night, so I would play safe next time and prepare it the day before. Forgot to mention, I have made this pie twice now, obsessed to get it to perfection for us. To reduce sweetnes and make it slightly stiffer, I actually used 2 8oz packages of cream cheese on a second go. Bingo! Perfect sweetnes and texture for us!

This was definitely a hit - and soooo easy. I actually used cherry pie filling instead of berries, delicious!!!

Deeply delicious and so very easy to make - what a great combination! I love seriously lemony desserts, and ended up literally licking the bowl it was made in, something I very rarely do (or admit to, at any rate!) I used strawberries and the whole thing was just perfect. Thank you so much for posting, this is a definate keeper!
