Very yummy recipe. I added some minced garlic and sprinkled a little salt on top too. This is an easy dish to cook in a toaster oven.

You can't beat fresh asparagus over the canned, although my husband loves the canned! I think I may have put too much olive oil on the asparagus as it was a little soggy - not crisp like I had thought it would be - you know like the kind you get in restaurants! But the taste was by far better than out of the can! Also, my husband wanted me to add a little garlic to the oil next time!

This is a wonderful way to prepare asparagus. I followed your directions, but took the asparagus out of the oven at 10 minutes. Sprinkled the parmesan and tossed it about instead of putting back in the oven. The flavor was right on, the asparagus was crisp tender and the lovely color of green was very eye appealing. I will definately make this dish again. Thanks for sharing.

Love roasted Asparagus and the touch of parmesan does add to the flavor. I roasted mine for 10 minutes, adde the parmesan and roasted another 5 minutes. Just right for me Thanks jean1

Wonderful taste! I did add some freshly ground pepper and roasted it just under 15 minutes, sprinkled the cheese over and put it under the broiler for about 2 minutes, it was just perfect. Thanks for sharing a good one!!

I broke off the ends and then laid the asparagus on a baking pan. I lightly misted the asparagus with LITE olive oil and mingled garlic in between the stems. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and chose to splash balsamic vingegar on top as a lower fat/calorie option to the parmesan cheese.

So Good. I've never roasted asparagus before, and this was very easy and tasted great. I made the recipe as indicated, but next time I will add a little salt and garlic as suggested in other reviews. Thanks.

The spears came out so tender! I added garlic and a touch of kosher salt and voila....they were gone when they hit the table!!

Well, I guess I'm now an asparagus lover, thanks to jean1! I always thought I didn't like asparagus, probably because of the canned stuff I had to eat as a kid!
