31 Reviews of Oreo Cheesecake

MMMmmmm, MMMmmmmmm! This was so easy and yet so impressive! I used Sweetened Condensed Milk for the sweetened condensed milk. I mixed in the crushed oreos instead of just spreading them on top and I garnished the cheesecake with whipped cream and mini oreos. I will be using this recipe again. Thanks for posting!

CHAR!! That was wonderful!! I loved the cheesecake, so did my family and colleagues. You have made my day! I have been having so much trouble with my oven, and I finally managed to bake a perfect cake in my new oven with your cheesecake! You are such an angel! Simple cheesecake but so good. I did add more oreo on the base, cos I like a thick crust. I put a total of 25 oreos as the base, and I crushed it till it was powder fine. And I put 18 oreos on the top just roughly chopped up. It did take longer to bake. It took one and a half hours to be done with the increase of cookies. WONDERFUL CAKE!

Great tasting, creamy cheesecake that's super easy to make! My parents were visiting and I wanted to make something nice for them. My mom mentioned that my dad tried an oreo cheesecake a while back and raved about it, so I looked for a recipe and found this one. I had only baked a cheesecake in a water bath in the past, so I was a bit leery trying one that seemed so easy, but it turned out with great results. It was super creamy (I guess because of the s/c milk?) I did use extra oreos in the crust based on other reviews and liked it (increasing the butter to 1/3 c. seemed to work well). I scattered the additional oreos on top, but next time I will try a suggestion from another reviewer and mix them right into the batter, then maybe add a few whole ones to the top. I think it would make a better presentation. It would also be great just as a regular cheesecake and add different toppings. All in all, this is a great recipe that will be made many times over in my kitchen!

I agree...what a magnificent cheesecake!! If you are new to making desserts, this dish is great for a beginner. I initially chose this recipe because of its' simplicity and good review. I too like a thick crust so I followed the suggestion of KitchenManiac. By doing this I found that the batter can actually be enough for two cheesecakes. I baked it for 50 min at 325 degrees. Oh, and to try something a little bit different, try using the new Oreo flavors: Peanut Butter and Coffee ENJOY!!

OK, I agree, it was simple to make, but it was very bland...just not even the slightest bit sweet. I thought perhaps the addition of extra Oreos would sweeten it up a smidge..but it didn't help. I probably won't make this particular recipe again.

Delectable! I added 1/2 c. sugar as I tried the "batter" and found it bland and it turned out perfectly.

Wow, wow, wow! This was terrific! I used about 24 oreos in the crust and 1/3 cup butter. I also added about 8 oreos to the batter and put more on top. I used low-fat cream cheese. A fantastic luxury!

Absolutely delicious! I made this for a friend's birthday, and everyone loved it! It was super easy, which I always appreciate. I did put the extra Oreos in the batter, and really liked the result! Thanks for great recipe!

Great recipe. I cannot bake worth beans. Due to this cheesecake, I am now popular among all the single women at church. Praise the Lord!

I really liked this cheesecake. I made it during a 2-day surprise dinner for him a couple of weekends ago. On the first day, I made him some baked mushroom chicken, alfredo pasta, sauteed portabella mushrooms with spinach, and his favorite beverage. On the next day, I made some spinach dip, some sauteed prawns, and of course this cheesecake! What an ending to a wonderful weekend of meals! I too added about 1/2 cup of sugar to my mix, and folded in the crushed oreos as well as putting some on top. Also, with my crust, I accidently used a whole stick of butter with the 18 crushed oreos, but it still turned out terrific! My hubby did not even want to share it, and was so disappointed once it was all gone. That's okay - I'm making another one tonight! Thanks so much!
