Loved it!! O.M.G.-I've had this recipe on my meal plan for so long and I was afraid to try it- now I just feel stupid! It was sooo good!! It tasted just like White Castle burgers. I was hesitent to make it because I do the low carb thing & my bf doesn't so I didn't think he'd like it but he just raved about it (of course, I had to make him french fries to go with it & drooled the whole time but...). I used fresh diced onions instead of the soup mix and I think they made the recipe. So, if you have them on hand-try it with them instead. This was a wonderful, quick & easy recipe Mercy-thank you for sharing!!

I make this recipe about once a week. I've only made it once with ground beef. Usually, I use cooked chicken and I don't add the pickles or mustard. It is so delicious!!! I've tried it with velveeta slices with mozzarella, with less mayonnaise and no matter what, it's awesome! Oh and I always use chopped onion instead of the onion soup mix to bring the carb count down. It's probably my favorite low carb recipe!!! THANK-YOU!!!

Never had actual fresh WC burgers just frozen, but this is a great dish! Low carb works for me as long as I can stick to it. This recipe will be a staple, no crazy ingredients, nothing expensive, great flavor. I never use soup mix because I thought it was too salty but I was surprised it wasn't. I used Beefy Onion and it was great. Thank you!

what a great little recipe this is! My sixteen-year-old bottomless pit is alway begging to go to white castle, but since we don't have one nearby, I did the next best thing and made some at home. He was very impressed, and his craving for white castle satisfied. we cook this recipe exactly as instructed, although I am thinking of adding some sauted onion slices next time. we serve ours with the Tater Tot Side dish #118069 and it makes a very quick and easy kid pleasing meal. Thanks Mercy for a great dinner.

Although I only had low fat versions of ingredients, it still came out very good. (I.E., fat free 1/2 and 1/2, 2% cheddar, low fat mayo)I didn't use the onion soup mix, but frozen chopped onions. I also used the low carb ketchup to dip in. Thanks for the recipe.

This was very easy to make and very filling. I have made it twice in a week. I have been taking it to work for lunch. I think it's even better warmed up.

This was really good, but I would use less of the onion soup mix next time and a fattier grade of ground beef. I did use some onions ( the greatest part of a white castle is the steamed onions...excellent!
