This was an excellent rub made with ingredients I always have on hand. I used smoked paprika and had this on short beef ribs that I rubbed with vinegar before I put it on. Yum.

I used this rub for a huge party I had for my mom's birthday yesterday and used it on some briskets that I smoked and that was the best rub I've ever had and my briskets were gone in no time. So many people asked me for the recipe it was unreal. I will use this rub from now on. Thanks for a great recipe!!!

This one goes in my "all time favorites" file. My hubby uses it almost as fast as I can make it!

This is a fantastic rub! We like to use it on our ribs, then let them sit for a bit. Then we boil the ribs for an hour or more until they are really tender. Toss them on the grill for about 20 mins with some BBQ sauce and... voila! They come out soooo good! Thanks for the recipe!

Just tried this on my family during our fishing trip. I have never tried a dry rub (always slathered with BBQ sauce) and I can't believe how great these turned out. Put the ribs in a slow cooker for 8 hours on low and everyone gave them rave reviews. The only thing I changed was to substitute ceyenne pepper (I am a hot/spicy food junkie) for the white pepper (didn't have white pepper) and added some red pepper flakes. Thanks for the recipe, I know I will be using this over and over.

Delicious rub! A perfect blend of sweet and spice, with full flavor. I will definitely use this recipe again. Thanks for posting it.

This will be replacing all other rubs for our ribs from now on. Thanks for sharing!
