Wonderful! The whole family really enjoyed this very hearty dish. Even the baby was using two hands to stuff this into his mouth! It makes A LOT! Next time, I'll freeze half for baking later. A great family meal, especially for a bunch of hungry kids, as well as a great dish for company. I used penne and sprinkled the garlic powder and oregano on the sausage layer. Also used a 6 oz pkg of turkey pepperoni which was plenty to completely cover the top of the casserole. Prepared it early in the day and refrigerated, then baked covered for about 45 minutes, then uncovered for 20. I'm sure you could add mushrooms, green peppers, olives or other favorite pizza toppings, but really, it was so good, I wouldn't change a thing! Thanks, CarrolJ!

While I ate this...my eyes rolled back in my head. I substituted ground turkey w/ a tsp. of italian seasoning mixed in for the Jimmy Dean, turkey pepperoni for regular, and Classico spaghetti sauce instead of Bertolli's (Classico is low calorie). I shaved it down to 596.13 calories and only 21.13 grams of FAT per serving! Try it! It's fantastic! I'm STUFFED! Oh I wish I would have made a double batch for my co-workers! ...next time. THANK YOU!

A big hit in my house! I made half the recipe and left out the ham. Rich and flavorful, but not too heavy. Used the spaghetti sauce, but may try the pizza sauce next time.

I made your original recipe and it was a huge hit!! I gave the recipe to many. My husband and I have to watch our calorie and cholesteral intake, so I did a bit of juggling. I used Italian turkey sausage, turkey pepperoni, low fat cheese, reduced-fat parmesan. Since we've tried both, I was able to do a comparison. It was simply delicious....both ways. Thank you so much for the recipe. I make "my" adaptation for us..your recipe for parties and pot-lucks.

Very delicious! This makes a TON of food so be prepared! I love all of the flavors that came together in this casserole. I followed it to the T and it came out very good. I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do with the garlic powder and dried onion so I left it out. I’m sure the information is staring me in the face. Try this one out, it is very good. I would also suggest that you make half and freeze the other half just because of how much this makes! Enjoy!

I will add my thumbs up for this recipe.....it's especially good with the three different meats. It makes it like a Meat Lover's Pizza! This is going into my collection for sure.

I can't believe I hadn't rated this yet..... Wow, I've fixed it at least three times.... My whole family loves it..... We substitute Italian sausage for the Jimmy Dean and leave out the ham and use Canadian bacon..... This recipe has endless possibilities.... You could add black olives, mushrooms, what ever your heart desires..... I have it on my menu again for this week and I plan on adding some garlic and black olives in with the sausage and onion.... Thanks so much for sharing....

This was delicious. Definatley a kid pleaser. I used Turkey breakfast sausage. I did not use as much cheese as called for and was glad I did I don't think it would have fit in the pan. My 9x13 was packed to the very top. I was scared it was going to overflow. Leftovers were also good. Would make again because the kids enjoyed it much.
