ZOMG ROTIBOY :D :D :D I must say that this brings back great memories of my friends and I mugging for our exams last year. It's a wonder how we didn't put on any weight at all... I'm bookmarking this recipe to try after I get past this year's exams! (PS: they're in 17 days)

I scaled down the recipe to half and loved the fact that the proportions were perfect. (I hate it when I have too much topping or filling and not enough dough!) However, for the intense coffee flavour, do NOT use the scaled down version. I did and the coffee flavour wasn't there at all. Do eat it hot because the topping got a little soft the next morning. Overall, a great hit with the family!

really love the topping!
however i didn't give 5 stars because the buns are not sweet enough to my taste (yeah, i am really a sweet tooth :P) and because i halved the recipe but the topping was somewhat too much.
overall, this recipe is still great.. thanks for sharing, KitchenManiac!

Apart from the topping this is exactly like the rotiboy I got in Java and Bali (no topping seems the norm in Indonesia). Delicious!!!

the recipe seems alright, except for the fact that it is called 'Rotiboy' and not 'Rottiboy'. Also, it isnt a singaporean thing, it is a malaysian thing. It's from Penang, Malaysia. www.rotiboy.com
