This is really good!! I did make a couple of changes tho, using yellow pepper instead of green just because of preference and I didn't have the sweet Italian sausage on hand, but breakfast links, which I cooked up and used and it was really good! I wasn't sure if I was to drain the tomatoes or not, but didn't and glad of that!
My husband just kept saying how much he loved the flavor and said he'd like it in the meal rotation, so thank you Parsley, for a tasty addition!

Quick, simple, tasty. I will make two small changes next time; less bow ties and more sausage.

Very good, quick and easy. I scaled by 1/2, used fresh roma's and a 1 lb tube of Jimmy Dean Italian sausage. Didn't use the green pepper as I didn't have it. Also didn't use the olive oil, just left a bit of the sausage grease. I replaced the parmesan with just a sprinkle mozzarella, as that is all I had. When I make it with can tomatoes I will drain them. Thanks for posting!

Real tasty. I made this last night for dinner, and we all went back for more. Very easy to put together, although I think next time I'll leave the sausage in the freezer longer. Had a heck of a time slicing it neatly, but it all worked out in the end. Thanks!

This was delicious, Parsley! I didn't have any bow tie pasta in the house so I used shells instead and it turned out wonderfully! My entire family enjoyed their meal. This is a very quick dish to put together and quite satisfying. We are looking forward to having the leftovers again tomorrow ; )

YUMMMOOOOOOO is right!
This was fantastic! I wasn't sure what to make. In the fridge, I had some chunks of red, orange and green bell peppers; also a little sweet italian sausage. Mark wanted breakfast for dinner, and that just didn't sound good to me. So, I came upon this wonderful recipe with the ingredients on hand. The sausage wasn't links, and I didn't have any parmesan cheese, but I put some shaved gouda over the top with some parsley, Parsley! LOL! I will DEFINITELY make this again. I'm so glad I waited to make dinner! Thank you sooo much!

Delicious & satisfying meal! I used 3/4 pound of turkey sausage to save some fat & calories. And, I used yellow peppers instead of green. I've tried similar recipes without the results that I got from this recipe - perfect combination of ingredients.

Superb for such quick meal. I added fresh basil and extra garlic. I also stirred in cheese to combine the flavors well. For ZWT.

Wow , this was delicious!!!
The only change I made was the pepper. Husband won't eat green , so I used a red ... and I didn't slice up the sausage, I took it out of it's casing (shudders) and fried it up like burger.
Delicious blend of flavors in this one! I just got done eating some re-heated for lunch and I have to say, I almost like it better the next day!
Great recipe Parsley!!! Thanks for sharing!!

I wanted to try this and yummo as rachel ray would say. This meal is worth more than 5 stars.
I doubled the spices and cheese and I think next time Oh yes there will be many next times with this meal, I want to double the sausage. Our 20 year old kept calling them meatballs lol
Parsley I should have known a mother with 4 boys, we have 3 here and a girl that this meal would be a super hit.. If anyone wants a new meal that is easy and doesn't take that long, give this a try.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe with us.
