Oh, the flavor!! The texture!! These are "go make your own brownies cuz I'm not sharing" brownies...9 servings? Yeah right--give me the entire pan, and watch that 9 become a 1! Oh yeah, and it doesn't hurt that this is darn near the easiest brownie recipe I've tried...one wonders why anyone would ever use a boxed mix when there are recipes like this out there. Thanks, R Foodie!

These are good. The only thing I did different was to melt the butter in my favorite glass mixing bowl. And also, sprinked the choc. chips over it while warm and spread them as icing. Wish I'd had the walnuts on hand! Thank you!

I love this brownie. It wasn't quite as sweet as some I've tried, which was a nice change. The nice, rich cocoa flavor was heavenly. My batch ended up a bit on the dry side — no resemblance to fudge here — but I loved the way it baked. No crunchy bits around the edges, no gooey mess in the middle. A keeper!

FANTASTIC! I doubled the recipe, baking in two pans, and it was a good thing! The first pan disappeared before they were even cool. I used the chocolate chips and the double chocolate was great. No need for frosting-rich and yummy as they are!

TEN STARS!! I don't know if I have ever made brownies from scratch. These are awesome. I doubled it for a 13 x9 pan. Added nuts and chocolate chips. Made chocolate icing for it and added candy sprinkles. They are chewy, tastey and if I am not care I could eat the entire pan!! These are easier than a box mix and 10 times as tasty. I love the fact that the hardest thing is melting the buttun on the stove. I think I forgot the vanilla but you can't tell. These are a definate keeper!

These are so good and so easy that they are amazing! I can't remember a better brownie. I used an 8X8 glass pan and they were pretty mushy in the middle at 20 minutes. At 25 minutes they were perfect. I did add the extra chocolate chips because they were a part of another recipe that i like.
