Very good the sauce was perfect in taste. I did add a teaspoon of corn starch mixed with a little white wine to thicken it. You may need to cook the salmon about 6 min per side.

***** I am only able to rate the sauce ~ The sauce is a glorious 5 stars! I had begun a different recipe when I discovered I did not have one of the main ingredients, so immediately went searching for another recipe for salmon. I used this recipe for the sauce, doubling it (it is excellent!). I hope to make the rest of this recipe so I will be able to give it the proper credit due : ) Loved it! Will definitely make again. Thanks, Sharon, for saving our supper!

I truely enjoyed this fish recipe. It was quick and simple. My son, who doesn't like fish ate almost his entire piece, so that was a real accomplishment.

DH and loved this. Cooked the salmon in my well seasoned cast iron skillet. Searing the salmon gave it a delicate crust that went well with the glaze. Made as per the recipe. Served it with Broccoli With Lemon Garlic Almond Butter Broccoli With Lemon Garlic Almond Butter by Chef Marie and Mushroom Risotto Mushroom Risotto by CountryLady.

I made this for the second time, and I loved it more than the first!! The balsamic glaze is sooo good...pairs perfectly with the salmon, I drizzled it over a salad, AND dipped crusty bread in it. Triple use in one meal! Deee-lish!

Wonderful! I made this with Salmon Steaks as that was what I had on hand; I think it would be even better with fillets and no darn bones. the sauce had a lively tang to it tempered by the sweetness of the Balsamic Vinegar... try this one, you won't be disappointed

Few ingredients, easy prep, dreamy glaze! I believe this glaze would also work with grilling the salmon, which I believe I will try next time. Restaurant quality, thanks!

This is my kind of recipe: few ingredients, simple prep, yummy with or without glaze, and healthy, too! My young boys enjoyed the salmon without the glaze and DH and I enjoyed the glaze drizzled over the top. Served with steamed broccoli, jasmine rice, whole wheat rolls, and mango salsa. I'm not a big fish lover so I usually smother it in the salsa to disguise the taste. In hindsight, this recipe didn't need it. The only thing I didn't like about this recipe was that it filled my kitchen with so much smoke that I expected my smoke alarm would go off, but it didn't. Because of this, I'll probably make it more often when it's not 21 degrees outside!

I just pulled this up to make it a second time and realized I hadn't reviewed it yet. I had never prepared seared salmon before, only baked, so I'm glad to have another delicious way to cook salmon. My 5-year-old inhaled the fish and asked for seconds. She was disappointed the following day when there weren't any leftovers for lunch. I subbed lime for the lemon based on what I had on hand, and my glaze never really thickened, although it was very tasty. I served this with steamed broccoli.
