I have been looking for a really good dough recipe for a long time. This was excellent. I put all the dry ingredients in the food processor and just added the warm water. Worked great. I also added a teaspoon of dried basil. This will definitely be used many more times. Thanks so much for sharing your recipe.

I have 4 children of my own and then had another 4 over for the night. I wanted to find a pizza crust that was quick to make since I had 8 gets yelling they were hungry. I found this one and I said what the heck I'll give it a shot. They all loved it. I had to make 4 batches of it. I myself am not a pizza lover but this is very good. Very fast and easy to make. I just made it again tonight so that my husband could try it as he was on the road when I made it before. Thanks for the great recipe.

Excellent, just as it is. Here is a slight variation that worked well: instead of 2 c of white flour, 1 c white and 1 c whole wheat, plus 1 tbsp olive oil.

This recipe was a total hit with my family. My only problem was that with certain types of yeast, in order for it to react properly you need to put the sugar and very hot water (instead of lukewarm) in a bowl, and then add the yeast (make sure there is lots of room in the bowl becasue it will rise quite a bit.) this mixture needs to stand for 10 minutes..you will see the yeast shooting up to the top within 2 minutes if the mixture is working properly. Another suggestion - try adding garlic or oregeno or other spices to your dough. SO YUMMY - i have made it over and over again!

I just finally signed up for recipezaar just to tell you how awesome this is. Why do all the other pizza dough (including joy of cooking) recipes call for over an hour of proofing? I don't get it, am I missing something? Thanks And, finally I have an account so thank you for that as well!

Great recipe- most homemade pizza dough gets way too thick. This one was light and crispy. We will be using this recipe again! Thanks!
