Great recipe! My mom makes me her home made miso, so I use that instead of the packaged miso, and it's fabulous! I also bake my salmon instead. I line the pan with foil, place the salmon, then the miso glaze all over the salmon, then seal the pan with foil on top so that the juices can't escape. It's so yummy and tender! I bake at 400 degrees, for I'd say 20 minutes. Enjoy with steamed broccoli sprayed with lemon!

Oh my goodness, this is good! I made it according to the recipe, but will add some fresh grated ginger next time to give it a bit of spice. Mine burned a little, but we actually liked that
Thanks for the great recipe Vino Girl - this is a keeper!

OMG. I am a big fan of the Cheesecake Factory, and this recipe is exactly like theirs. Now... if anyone can tell me how to make the sake butter... This recipe is so quick to make. I doubled the miso mixture and baked the salmon with all of the mixture. While that is cooking, I ran the rice cooker and added frozen peas after he rice was done and mixed it to make pea-rice. I used the remaining miso mixuture in the pan to put over the rice. It was really yummy. I've made this about 10 times, and a couple of times in the george foreman when our oven was broken.

Simply Delicious! I also double the recipe for the sauce and pour over the salmon, then I put it in the oven/broil and the sauce caramelized a little bit making it simply irresistible. I served with brown rice and peas. It was actually better than the cheesecake version!

This was really surprising! When I first tasted the glaze it was very salty but once it caramelized on the fish under the broiler it was sweet and succulent! Very tasty dish! Thank you for sharing.

I used salmon steaks and baked at 350 degrees. I loved the mild sweet flavor that the salmon had! Very easy and very impressive presentation! Thanks for posting!

first of all, i have to say that i have been a server at the cheesecake factory for 2 years (the Miso Salmon is one of our top selling seafood dishes), and this recipe is DEAD ON! this is easy to make, and the fish absorbs the flavor in no time! the only thing missing is the sake butter, but that makes it all the more fattening anyway. here's a tip to cut the calories in half: i used splenda brown sugar mixture. it tasted just as good. cheesecake better watch out!

I also loved this at the Cheesecake Factory, thanks for posting it. I used Korean miso (doenjang), which is stronger, but it still tasted perfect. Also, my fillets were quite thin, so I brushed the sauce on and then boiled the remainder to serve at the table. Fabulous!
