33 Reviews of Quick Sour Cream Cucumbers

From: Julie in TX

On May 5, 2005

This is so good. I added some dried dill. This is a great way to serve those cucumbers that your garden produces in abundance. Yummy! I will make again.

it's also good to add some dill - and a splash of vinegar OR a sprinkling of sugar - a good complement to plain potatoes and meat - very refreshing -

A very nice side to salmon. Creamy and peppery, we enjoyed this. I added some sliced tomato. Thanks Lauralie!

My sister has made this many times for family dinners. It is so good and easy to prepare! Very creamy with a little kick from the pepper.

My mom and grandma have mage a similar dish for years, except they first salt the plain cukes for a bit to draw out the moisture, drain, then thin the sour cream dressing with plain white vinegar....yum !

A quick and easy summer sidedish. A cool, creamy addition to any cookout meal, especially a spicy one. I used Breakstone's Reduced Fat Sour Cream. Thanks for sharing it Lauralie!

I enjoyed this today with Rita L's Potato and Beet Salad Potato and Beet Salad as an easy take-to-work lunch. Both travelled well! I didn't peel my cucumbers as I was using a thin-skinned variety that I never peel. And I added a tablespoon of minced garlic. Loved the simplicity of flavours! Just delicious, and SO very quick and easy to make! Thank you!
