OH MY!!! Here is my story in regards to Josh's Tilapia. So my DH & I have been trying to eat semi-healthy. There was a sale on tilapia at the supermarket. Bought the tilapia. Went to the Zaar in search of a recipe, and found this. Now, I was looking for something good, because my husband DISLIKES fish, but in our pursuits of health, he agreed to eat the tilapia. AND BOY WAS HE AMAZED!!! He absolutely LOVED this! And so did I! We were wowed! And since I made this, he has asked for it again! HA! This was very simple to make. Don't be worried that you don't have an exact measurement for the Italian dressing--it all works out! I upped the cumin and skipped the Old Bay Seasoning because I didn't have any. This is a keeper recipe. And not only a keeper, but one I would definitely serve to guests! THANKS!

Yum! Shirl, you're right, this is to die for. It's one of those recipes that's super easy but so delicious that you could serve it to company and they'd never know your secret. I made this using 2 haddock fillets because that's what I had on hand and it worked out wonderfully. The amounts of the spices were just right (I measured the Old Bay and cumin but just eyeballed the salt and pepper). I didn't make the rice this time because I had some white bread I wanted to use up, but I'll definitely try it next time because it sounds like a great pairing. I can't wait to make this one again. I bet it would excellent with other FF dressings and spices, too. I can't wait to experiment!

This was just wonderful!!! My mom has asked me for this recipe 8 times and I refuse to give it to her. Just being stingy....She ate almost the whole thing by herself.I simply adore it especially when I'm in the mood for fish.

Delicious! Enjoyed by everyone in the family. I admit to using regular dressing (all I had) then spiced the fish with Penzey's Northwoods Fire and cumin. Thanks for sharing!

Incredible! This is one of the best fish recipes I have ever tried and so easy. I served it with the jasmine rice and asparagus on the side. The whole family loved it, including my picky 5 yr. old DD. This will go in the "frequently used" list of recipes.

Wow! This was so good. I eyeballed all of the ingredients and it was perfect. I added dried onions to my jasmine rice and used chicken broth instead of water to cook in. I also cooked the rice in my rice cooker because it is always perfect that way. I sauteed frozen peas in butter and tossed them with the cooked rice. The combination of the dressing and the seasonings made a wonderful sauce that just tasted wonderful over the rice. I am really impressed with how easy, healthy and tasty this is. Thanks for a great recipe!

This was really, really good. Besides that it was easy and inexpensive. I did not have Old Bay Seasoning so used an Asian Seafood Seasoning that I had in the house. The cumin was great and I don't always like cumin. I will make this often. Thanks!!

DH and I really enjoyed this. I didn't measure the spices, just sprinkled them on as Shirl suggested. After turning the tilapia over after a few minutes, I sprinkled that side with the spices as well. I served it with fresh french bread. We used it to sop up the sauce left in the pan. We had some leftovers and they were equally delicious when warmed up. DH wants to try this with shrimp next time.

I didn't rate this because some people like a stronger fish taste, but I thought the cumin and salad dressing brought out the fishyness of this normally very mild fish. The kids did not care for it and I could not even eat it. I cannot eat fishy tasting fish. And the fish I bought was VERY fresh. If you only like mild tasting fish, I would not prepare this way. If you are an avid fish lover then I would definitely try if so many people loved this recipe, you might too. Unfortunately I have to keep looking! Thanks for sharing anyways.
