This was so good! Cooked down turkey bones and meat for a tasty broth. Used rice instead of noodles. I used yellow onions and fresh carrots which were perfect. My husband ate 4 bowls and my 5 year old twins ate 2 each! Thanks Kaarin for sharing a great recipe!

My family loves this soup, and it is so easy to make! We cook it every time we have leftover turkey. I use whatever remaining gravy I've saved for part of the broth requirement, and we use one cup of milk and one of cream for a rich but not overpowering flavor. Also, I like the texture of fresh carrots better than frozen. I've found that the noodles don't do so well the next day, and our little family of three could not possibly finish the pot in one sitting, so unfortunately we leave the noodles out most times.

Perfect for leftover turkey, I used fresh carrots that took forever to soften, I ended up covering them for awhile. I used chicken stock and added one extra can, this was very good, something I will make again.

Had some leftover chicken, so made the soup with that instead of the turkey. Used half milk and half cream and regular onions as I had no green onions. Also, used fresh carrots and cut back on the salt. I prefer small noodles, so I used ditalini and it worked very well. This was delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe, Kaarin.

Wow!!! I made my first turkey just after Thanksgiving, and I HATED doing it, and peeling all the leftover turkey off the bones, then trying to find more turkey recipes to use it all up. But this has now made it all worth it to me! We'll most certainly make this again!

AWESOME soup!!! I didn't have white pepper, so I used a reduced amount of black pepper instead. The cayenne gave it a great kick and the soup was nice and creamy. If you have young kids that are sensitive to spice, I'd take it easy on the cayenne, but other than that, it's easy to make and my family loved it!

Absolutely delicious. I didn't have the onions or the parsley on hand and it was awesome. I used skim milk instead of cream and it still worked. Doubled the cayenne pepper to give it more zip. Probably didn't need to add the pasta - would have been great without it.

We enjoyed this delicious soup for our supper this evening. Of course the flavour of this soup is going to depend on how good your turkey broth is...in my case, it was awesome, if I do say so myself. I used fresh vegetables instead of frozen and broke up some fettucine for the noodles. Very good, and I will make this again. Thx Kaarin.

Fantastic! I made this as written using fresh carrots, so I just allowed it to simmer a little longer before adding the noodles. My half and half was the fat free kind, and it still gave a creamy texture. This was just the right thing for a cold, rainy day. Thanx!

This soup was incredibly easy and tasty! I decreased the amount of salt, used sweet onions, fresh carrots, chili powder in place of the cayenne pepper, and added a teaspoon bouillon powder to turkey broth (in which I cooked turkey thighs and wings). Everyone absolutely adored it, including a toddler with VERY discriminating tastes. Thank you kindly for a lovely recipe. I will most certainly make it again!
