I have made this recipe so many times since I first found it and it is a hit everytime! It can be served as a salad, a salsa, a salad topping, burrito topping, or any other way you like.

I can only say this... My husbands exact words were... if I knew you could make salsa I would have asked for this years ago... I used fresh ingredients and it was so great.. don't know how it is with canned stuff but with garden stuff it is a truly great salsa-thanks

This is one of those recipes where I really wish there were more then 5 stars available. Mostly I stuck to the recipe except I used lovely organic green onions from the farmer's market. They were red, but I also used some of the green tops. My lime must have been extra juicy because, using my new little hand held juicer that I just love, I got more then 3 tbs. of lime juice. I only used 2 tbsp., though. I did use 3 tbsp. of organic cilantro also bought at the farmer's market. It was the best cilantro I have ever had the pleasure of trying and I know it added a wonderful dimension to this dish. I put it all together and then put it in the fridge while I prepped my other dishes. Then I served it over top of baked tilapia which was a wonderful contrast to the fish. The rest we ate with homemade baked tortilla chips. Really spectacular dish. The proportions were exactly right. Thanks Toni!

This was terrific! Didn't make it the quick and easy way though, since it's the middle of farmer's market season and I had access to the ripest Jersey tomatoes and sweetest Jersey corn, which I oven roasted. No doubt that helped. Otherwise my lime was not juicy enough but luckily I had an extra half one left over in the refrigerator. I served with blue and yellow "Guiltless Gourmet" baked tortilla chips. A crowd-pleaser for sure.

Wonderful, easy salsa! This was my first attempt at homemade and it turned out to be fantastic! I doubled the recipe and used 1 whole can of corn and black beans. I would suggest making sure your brand of black beans are firm-mine were a little too soft. My family LOVED it. Thanks!!

Good salsa! For tomatoes, I used 1/2 can of diced tomatoes and some left over tomato salsa. Even so, I was adding lime juice, salt and hotnes to the recipe. Our taste buds must be gone.

What's not to love about this beyond delightful, easy as feezy to prepare, and healthy too, black bean and corn salsa. Oh if life could be as wonderful as this. The colors are so vibrant and taste so smooth together just begging you to grab a spoon and eat it directly out of the bowl you mixed it in. I had everything on hand, and I didn't even realize it. I followed this exactly as written except a couple of cucumbers jumped ship from the salad in the fridge and nestled their way into the salsa. Perfect combination of flavors, beautiful eye appeal and good for your tummy too! Thanks for this great salsa and will make this often this summer, Toni! Made for just the heck of it, May 2008,

Used as a topping for burritos, left overs was used for dip, excellent.

Ok yeah, this was really good. My husband isn't home from work yet, hopefully there will be some left for him to try. I can already tell though that he'll want a bowl of this in the fridge at all times. I used a can of tomatoes with diced chilis AND a jalapeno and dried cumin and cilantro. Reeealllly good stuff!!

This is a wonderful salsa and one I enjoyed making. I used a green bell pepper as a substitute for the jalapeno and fresh tomatoes as well instead of canned. The blend of flavours was most nice in this dish. A true keeper!
