This is so good! I halved the recipe with no problems, but left the amount of garlic the same (personal preference). I also added extra lemon juice and garbanzo liquid to make it extra smooth. I had this with pita bread and tomatoes for a tasty lunch. And there is tons left over! Thanks Charishma! This is my recipe from now on!

This was really a nice, easy recipe. I live in a very small town where we cannot buy tahini. I used the same amount of sesame seeds (1/2 cup) and blended it for an extra few minutes and it was wonderful. Thanks!

How could 40 great reviews be wrong! This recipe is a great base which can be varied slightly to suit tastes. I only made about 2/3 recipe, because I only had about 2 cups leftover cooked chickpeas! I sauteed the garlic and cumin in a tiny amount of oil and got a lovely roasted garlic flavor. Also, as did a previous reviewer, I pureed between each ingredient, and got the smoothest hummus I've ever made! I'm so happy!

YUUMMMMMMY!! This is a great simple hummus! This time I actually used a few cloves of roasted garlic and it was fantastic! It cuts that strong raw garlic taste and brings a little sweetness to the plate!

This was my first attempt at making Hummus and I couldn't be happier. Overall the flavors are very well balanced and subtle, especially the lemony tartness with the garlic and underlying sesame. Cumin was the strongest noticable flavor, but it was pleasant and not overpowering. This will be a staple in our house. We enjoyed eating it on pita bread and sprinkled it with freshly ground pepper for extra zip.

I changed this up a bit. I got rave reviews. People asked me where I bought it! I added more garlic, cumin and lemon juice. I also added a little olive oil and about 5 sun dried tomatoes packed in oil. This was amazing!!!! I never knew it was so easy to make. I'll never buy it again. YUMMY.

This makes great Hummus. I like the fact that no oil is added. I did use about 1/2 cup of the liquid, and started out using 1/2 tsp of cumin which I found perfect for my taste. wonderful thanks.

This was my first time making hummus at home- and it was not a bad experience AT ALL!! We all loved the hummus, which I served with Cheese wrapped olives (recipe number 47939, by s'kat). Thanks for a keeper Charishma!

I enjoyed this very much. I halved the recipe but still used the full amount of garlic. It was a little too "tahini-y" for my tastes so next time, I'll cut back on that a bit. Other than that, delicious and very easy. Thank you for posting!
