49 Reviews of World's Best Grilled Steak

From: Chef #325949

On Jun 15, 2006

I have used this recipe twice, even with cheaper cuts of meat. (Once with chuck eye steak and once with sirloin). Both were equally good. I only marinate my meat for one hour and turn the meat every 20 minutes. It's still so tender I can almost cut it with a fork. I use an indoor grill pan to cook my steak. I sear the meat 4-5 minutes on both sides, then finish cooking in a 375 degree oven for 5-7 minutes.(medium done) This is a wonderful recipe. A little salty but I might try the low sodium soy next time. Thank you for this recipe.

I bought some gorgeous steaks on sale at the store, and as luck would have it this recipe posted on the very same day. Even better, I had all the ingredients on hand! This was very simple to mix up and the steak tasted fabulous. Definitely something I'll use again!

This is very good. I cut the soy sauce in half due to its sodium content, but that is because we have to watch our sodium intake. I used ribeye steak and grilled them on my George Foreman grill. My husband loved them! Thanks for a great recipe.

This marinade is awesome. It was a hit with the entire family. I made it for my wife for mother's day and she returned the favor for father's day. Our 3 year old ate an entire steak by herself. No A-1 needed here. Excellent recipe. Thanks Chef Dee.

After reading all the reviews, I decided to make a few changes to the recipe. I used only 1/3 cup of Soy Sauce, 2 teaspoons of BBQ sauce instead of ketchup, and 1 teasppon of cayenne pepper instead of black pepper. This turned out to be the most flavorful and tender steaks I've grilled! Thanks for sharing.
