The only way that we will eat salmon fillets, although mum drizzles olive oil over as well as lemon juice before baking it. it really adds to its flavour. thanks for posting. MISs Pixie x x x :D

A perfect recipe! I knew I'd love this when I saw it, salmon and asparagus are two of my favourite foods and it is so easy to make, yet looks elegant enough for a dinner party. I used a little of a garlic and chili seasoning salt and after 18 minutes I had a beautiful looking and tastebud-tentalising dinner. Thanks for sharing!

1/21/2008: This was wonderful! I used larger fillets, so my cooking time was a little longer - about 25 minutes. I also added a tsp of butter to each foil pack. The taste was amazing! Thanks, PaulaG! UPDATE: This recipe made it into my Favorite Finds of 2008! cookbook! Thanks, again, Paula G!

Love it! Super quick and simple dinner, I served it with brown rice. I added some Ms Dash lemon pepper seasoning and table salt instead of the fresh ground pepper and seasoning salt and would probably do it again next time. Thank you!

This is super easy and delicious!!! I really love how this cooked the salmon perfectly! I had seen this en papillote/al cartoccio method on cooking shows but never got around to trying it until tonight!! What took me so long???? The salmon and asparagus both tasted so flavorful because they steam in their own juices! I had used fresh cracked black pepper and kosher salt with my lemon juice and I sprinkled a little extra virgin olive oil over the fish and then the asparagus. I used salmon filets with the skin still in tact and I layed that side down on the foil to create a barrier between the foil and the flesh of the fish. I had some large salmon filets so mine took about 25 minutes to cook through in the middles. I really loved this method and the easy little mess clean up too, will definitely make again!!!

I have made this several times so far and it comes out perfect each time. I use a season blend to season my salmon and asparagus...I think it is called Old Bay. Anyway, even my 2 year old devoured her plate and she normally refuses vegetables and fish. The asparagus we tender and delicious. Thanks for a keeper! PS. I now cook my chicken in foil...perfect and no mess!

This was my first attempt at cooking Salmon. It was quick, easy and very tasty. I recommend it for the very beginner chefs. Thanks for this great idea.

Only change I made was to add a couple slices of garlic to each packet - goes good with everything, doesn't it? This is a super easy recipe with wonderful results and hardly no cleanup. What more could you ask for? Thanks for another keeper, Paula.

My husband & I both enjoyed this. I added some butter, mayo & dill to each packet. Nice to have a new way to get more fish in the diet. Thanks Paula!
