My husband is a meatloaf nut, so this fit the bill. I only used 1 1/2 pounds of hamburger and cut the crumbs back to 3/4 cup. I needed to add a bit of water to the mix and it held together very nicely. The addition of the cheese came through beautifully as did the garlic. I spread some chili sauce on top. It came out moist and held together when I sliced it. Nice recipe Katie.

I feel the amt of bread crumbs was a bit much though needed to use it all to keep the loaf together. The next time I make it I will use about 1/2 c less and maybe use smaller eggs. What drew me to this recipe was the amt of garlic, I LOVE GARLIC. Besides, it keeps the vampires away and my cholesterol low! I may even add a little more next time. I have sliced the rest of it in 1 inch thicknesses and vacuum sealed it for freezing, leaving out 1 slice for later this week. I truly hope it is as delicious after freezing as it was fresh made. The slice I left for later was eaten tonight and the taste improved with the wait!

I made this tonite and really enjoyed it. The parmesan cheese made this smell really good while cooking it and so did the garlic. I think I would add a bit less breadcrumbs next time and I didnt use the ketchup.

This is a really easy and great tasting loaf. I only made half the recipe for a smaller loaf for the two of us tonight but will certainly make a full one next time so that I have some for another meal or sliced for sandwiches. Can see this being used lots in summer & in winter in this house. A 'keeper' for me

This was a wonderful meatloaf recipe. DH told me not to loose it. I did all as specified but maybe not as much parsley as called for but everything else was dead on, including the cooking time. Very flavorful and held together perfectly. Thanks for a good meatloaf recipe, the whole family thanks you!!!

Loved it! I did change it a little. Instead of 2 lbs of hamburger, I used 1 lb hamburger, 1 lb sausage, and 1/2 lb ground turkey. I also added seasoned salt. It turned out wonderful! I have made many meatloafs, and never used parmesan. That must have been what made it SO good!

Everyone liked this a lot! My older son had 3 slices! I didn't add the ketchup and I used about 3 tbsp. of the dried parsley. I prepared this a day ahead and left it in the refrigerator, covered, and baked it today. My son's tutor came in just as he was finishing and she tried it and wants the recipe too! Thank you!

VERY GOOD indeed!! I also used dried parsley and it worked just fine! I mixed a small can of "tomato sauce for meatloaf" and chili sauce for the topping. Yum-yum! Hubby absolutely LOVED it! It's going in my recipe box for keeps!!
