I couldn't wait to get the ingredients to make these and since they only take 5 minutes to make (plus chill time), I didn't have to wait long to eat them. I love the little difference in flavor and larger pieces the Special K gives them. It was a fun recipe for the kids to make- although I shaped the dough, since I wasn't sure how well they'd hold together (since I threw off my ratio by eating too many chips!), but they firm up in about 10 minutes in the fridge. Thanks for tracking down the recipe, Pam. Roxygirl

I really thought I had messed up on this one, but thankfully I didn't. I got everything melted together and went to add the Special K ....and low and behold, I had special K with Strawberries. Well, there was nothing to do but use them. This treat turned out wonderfully. Everyone loved them!!!!

These are so delicious - nice and sweet and crunchy. The butterscotch and peanut butter taste great together. Instead of doing individual cookies, I just pressed the mixture into a 9 x 13 pan and we had cereal bars. That worked out very well and it made a quick recipe even quicker! Thank you Pam-I-Am.

While these tasted good, my treats fell apart and were quite crumbly. Possibly I brought the chips and peanut butter to too high of a temperature (?) But I'm glad you posted this so I could try them. Had always heard about them, but never had an opportunity to try. Thank-you.

I really enjoy this recipe!!! In addition, I add a layer of melted milk chocolate to the top which everyone really seems to enjoy. I also press it into a 9x13 pan and cut into squares. Great recipe!!!!
