8 Reviews of My Very Best Steak or Chicken Fajitas

From: Roxygirl in Colorado

On Dec 11, 2006

I've made this twice and I'm going to keep on making it! I use Fajita Seasoning Mix by Kathy at Recipezaar with skirt steak.I use 2 bottle pepperoncinis for the habaneros and cider vinegar. I love the combo and it will be made many times in this house. Thanks HeidiSue! Roxygirl

My family has declared these as the best Beef Fajitas they have ever had....So I take that as a five star rating....a real keeper...

This was a unique flavor that somebody obviously tweaked until they had this taste. I used the beef formulation on chicken. This is so much better than any packaged fajita spice and also better tasting than any I have had in a restaurant. A family favorite in the making.

We had this tonight. Everyone loved it. I had some leftover T-Bone steak & sliced it in thin strips, instead of marinating I simmered it in a covered fry pan. I used the Fajita Seasoning Mix that was posted on the Recipe Zaar, May 9, 2002 by Kathy. I was wonderful. Dinner was a great , Thank You!

I used both beef and shrimp, and did not marinate the shrimp (in lime juice it will 'cook'). Used southwest seasoning instead of fajita (didn't have any). DS really enjoyed the beef.

These were wonderful. I wasn't sure if it would be spicy because of some of the ingredients and then it would be a bust for my kids..But it was perfect. The meat was so juicey and tender. I had to do it on my indoor grill since I had just ran out of propane for my gas grill, but it came out just as good. My husband went crazy for this dish and gave me many compliments on this dish saying that it was better than any restaurant, and my kids gobbled it down so fast and I got hugs and kiss's over it. So thank you very much for this wonderful recipe. Try it..Trust me its delicious!!
