Easy, lovely, tasty. We liked this recipe better than the "original" you can buy. I used Breyer's Vanilla Ice Cream in this, and I also dipped my glass rims in water then a bowl of green sandning sugar to make a nice presentation.

I've never had a Shamrock Shake but this was a real treat tonight for our St Patrick's Day dessert. I reduced the amount of milk because I like thicker shakes. Sprinkled the top with green dyed raw sugar and garnished with fresh variegated mint leaves from the garden. Be cautious in the amount of mint extract you use in this shake. Add a drop, taste then add more if you think it needs it. Thanks! cg

I never had the mcdonalds version on this shake, so I can't compare it.... but I can say that this is one tasty shake! I used skim milk and low fat low cal ice cream. I rimmed the glass with green tinted splenda to make it a bit more festive. Awesome recipe!

I alway used to wait for St Patricks Day to get these shakes, they are absolutly wonderful. It is so nice to have the recipe rather then having to go to McDonalds,I can make them myself.

This was great and absolutely refreshing. I didn't have 2% and I probably wouldn't of used it, but I substitued it for 1% and it wouldn't made much of a difference. Thanks for posting.
