This recipe is excellent. The flavor was very good and it was easy to prepare. The only thing I did different was to cook it in a crockpot. Thanks Vamy for a very good recipe

I made this for my sons 17th birthday for dinner. This was wonderful! I made a double recipe which made a full huge crock pot! When the end of dinner came there was not any left in the pot...it was wonderful. I did however skip the merlot, but it still was great! Thank you for sharing I will be making this again.

I love this recipe!!!! Although most of the time I sautee garlic, onions and carrots along with the ground sirloin and most of the dry spices and then I put everything in a crockpot to simmer for most of the day.I make it everytime I do a special Italian meal like stuffed manacotti, lasagna....etc. Thank you

Made exactly as written. We found this a little too sweet for our taste but otherwise the flavor was good. I would make it again but change up the spices a little or use 1/2 beef and 1/2 sausage for a little more kick. I might decrease the amount of carrot a little. If you enjoy a sweet sauce you will like this one. Thanks!

I didn't follow the recipe exactly as I wanted a smaller amount so used only a 6 oz can of tomato paste and omitted the 14.5oz can of tomatoes. The result was a nice, tasty and thick sauce! Excellent.

Delcious! I changed it up a bit and added a can of petite diced tomatoes, subbed the canned mushrooms for fresh and added a can of black olives! It was great. Made a huge pot. Great for a crowd.
