This was very good. My husband even liked them and he's not a big bean fan. I followed the recipe exactly, however, next time, I think I'll reduce the amount of vinegar as that was a little to prominent for me. I might through in a little brown sugar as well to sweeten it up a bit. This would be a great dish to bring to a picnic or potluck. Thanks for the recipe.

I have a recipe very similar to this which I was going to add, but mine only adds 1 to 2 tsp of prepared mustard to this recipe and I only use 1 tbsp of vinegar. I serve this dish with Boston Brown Bread. It's one of my husband's favorite meals!

Very, very good. I made a half-portion of this recipe to serve with another dish at lunch and I should have made the whole amount. The kids loved it - so that always gets 5 stars in my books.

We just loved this! I added a touch more Tabasco and brown sugar to suit our taste. I serve this with pulled pork barbecue and potato salad! Thanks littleturtle!

This was just a huge hit at a potluck. I followed the recipe as written but with a bit of mustard added. This was the only dish that ended up empty!! Really easy to do and sure much appreciated. Thanks for the post littleturtle.
