Wow, dear. I had been looking everywhere for this recipe, because I'd had noodles like this at restaurants for years. These were simple and tasty, and my dear hubby said they were "killer." Definitely a do-over. Hugs.

YUMMY! Great flavor and easy to make. I made with asian noodles, and their texture didn't work out so great (my fault with the noodle selection, no reflection on the recipe). BUT the flavor was super. I added more sesame oil, and put TONS of toasted sesame seeds...don't just garnish with the seeds....load up! I will use linguini next time, as instructed...know the results will be great. THANKS.

As Rachael Ray would say, Yumm-O! I doubled the sauce recipe and added the juice of 1 large lime, 1 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 Tbsp sambal chili paste, 3 Tbsp freshly toasted sesame seeds and a handful of chopped fresh cilantro to the original ingredients. I saved out 1/4 of the sauce to marinade a pound of firm tofu slices (from which I had already rendered the excess water). I used a pound of chantaboon (thai rice sticks aka pad thai noodles), boiled them for 2 minutes only. I drained the tofu and patted dry with paper towels then fried it in 2 Tbsp peanut oil for a minute or two until golden. THEN I tossed the noodles, sauce and tofu all together, served it with a big handful of fresh bean sprouts on top with extra lime wedges and some rooster sauce. FANTASTIC! So simple, most of the ingredients were already on hand. My vegan son loved it & so did I, mahalo!

Made with spaghetti noodles, extra red pepper flakes and cayenne (about 1/2 tsp each-we like spicy)and creamy pb-dd doesnt like nuts... I agree- use LOTS of sesame seeds- not just garnish- that really made it! and I would use more green onion/scallions. Seemed like it needed something before adding those! Would be a great way to sneak veggies into a kid! Will make again adding more green onion and maybe some fresh green peas- not canned! or some sliced celery and matchstick carrots. Thanks for a great recipe that allows lots of possibilities.

These are awesome! And soooo easy to make. I couldn't believe that something which took such little effort could taste so good! After reading ThaiSnob's review I think next time I'll also add some sambal paste. Thanks for sharing a great recipe!

I made these tonight with dinner. I took the advice of some of the other reviews and halved the linguine and made the original sauce recipe. I also added sesame seeds and topped it off with green onions. It looked really pretty! I served them with Lee Hong's Cucumbers Lee Hong's Cucumbers, and Wassup Tuna Salad Pinwheels Wassup Tuna Salad Pinwheels. Thanks!

Five glowing stars for the "peanut butter worm noodles" (as my children referred to them)! We all loved these noodles! I added some extra sugar and sprinkled chopped scallions over top. Excellent hot or cold. Thanx for posting; it's a keeper!

These noodles were so good... I had not just seconds, but thirds and fourths last night! Next time I will use half the amount of linguini so that it's a bit saucier.
