19 Reviews of Football Bean Dip

This is a great dip that is always a huge hit. I serve it in a small crock pot which keeps it warm throughout the party. Another shortcut is to use the microwave to heat the cheese, beans and salsa. Make sure you use small 1-2 minute heating intervals while stirring in between. Just transfer the dip to the crockpot when heated through and enjoy!

This is great with the Mexican Velveeta cheese also. You can even leave out the Tobassco using this cheese.

Quick and simple to make and uses ingredients I always have in my kitchen. It was pretty addictive like all good dips should be! I used Mexican Velveta cheese as suggested. Thanks Mark for another tasty recipe!

Hey Mark-pretty tasty! I used my recipe for refried beans and added a small can of diced green chiles-fast, easy and I could hide one fried okra piece in it and still enjoy eating this dip! Di

Would a basketball game count? *LOL I made these last night for all to munch on while I "created" a new burger...your recipe was great, I love cheese! I used a lot of Tabasco as we do like it "hot". Thanks for this simple yet yummy recipe!

Great bean dip Mark--and it couldn't be any easier. We used the better part of a 16 oz jar of picante and a few good doses of hot sauce. Very addictive, especially when you're watching a great football game! Thanks for sharing your recipe, Mark!

Very good. Next time, though, I will add the hot sauce. I didn't because of the kids but I will next time. Thanks for posting.
