We really loved this casserole. I used sharp cheddar cheese and Cream of Mushroom Soup with Roasted Garlic... and we really enjoyed the way this turned out. I think if I hadn't used the sharp cheddar, and the soup with roasted garlic, there would not have been quite as much flavor shining through as there was. Thank you so much for this delicious recipe! Easy to prepare, and tastes great without too much sauciness. I topped mine with some crushed Ritz crackers for an added touch. Delicious! Thanks for posting.

I made this last night and my son who likes broccoli, but hates onions and mushrooms, loved this dish! I added about a tablespoon of fresh chopped garlic, and used fat-free mayonnaise (which cuts out so much fat and calories, but still tasted great!!), baked for 40 minutes, and then broiled it for about 5 minutes to brown the cheese. Easy and very yummy!

Awesome! I cut back to 1/2 cup of the onions (personal preference) and cut the mayo down to 1/2 cup. Also used a couple of cups of Pepperige Farm Herb Seasoned stuffing mix mixed with 4 TB of melted butter and topped the casserole with those buttered crumbs before baking. Oh what a wonderful smell!! Everyone enjoyed this at the church luncheon.

This was so easy, and just what I wanted. I added more cheese to the top and crushed buttery crackers. This is a keeper! Thanks.

This is very good! After dinner my Dad [who isnt big on vegetables] told me to keep that stuff cuz its sooooo good!! I had a little bit and YUM it was great... Who cares if ya gotta disguise the veggies with cheese, mayo, eggs, and cream soup... at least they're still eating them... lol...

I made this tonight to go with a pork roast. I used cream of chicken soup (reduced fat), omitted the onions, and cooked the broccoli in the microwave. I also halved the recipe. Turned out fantastic! Was devoured by all. Thanks!

I served this with a steak and some mushrooms. I had all the ingredients on hand, always a plus there. We give it 5 stars for flavor and ease of preparation. It was the only broccoli casserole I could find that did not have crushed crackers in it. We are avoiding crackers because of dieting. Thanks for posting.

This was wonderful! I tweeked it a bit by topping it with crushed corn flakes and drizzling them with olive oil before putting the casserole into the oven.

This is a great recipe my family loves it. Sometime I add cubed chicken or ham for a whole meal in one.
