Wow!! This is amazing. Followed recipe exactly. Cooked for 1 hr.; next time will cook 1 hr 15 min. Even the leftovers were very good two days later.

I love bread pudding and this is good. I added a little extra sugar and some rasins. Easy to make. The whole batch is gone the first day in our family of 4. The cinnamon puts such an arome through the house you can't wait until it's done.

This was wonderful and very easy. I think next time I would either leave the topping off or just drizzle a little over the top. The entire amount of topping made it a little too sweet.

OH MY GOD! This was the first time making bread pudding. This recipe was so easy and SO GOOD. I added raisins and more cinnamon, as well as some spiced rum to the glaze, which I drizzled on top. Thank you!!!!

I took this to a family event today and they all loved it; pretty good since they're from all around the country. They all asked for a copy and I proudly told them recipezaar. I was a little confused in the directions...does only 1/2c sugar go in the beginning and 1 c for glaze? Not specified but that's what I did. Also, What is the right amount of bread? a loaf and 5 all together? Is there a step missing? Thank you for a wonderful recipe that is so easy to make, turns out great and all can enjoy. Thanks for posting, Donella!!!!!

YUM! I love bread pudding, but am always trying new versions of it. I've found and concocted some that I really like, but this might be my favorite yet! It's so simple, and yet the end result is AMAZING! I used multigrain, seeded bread instead of white, which I think worked out beautifully. The seeds in the bread added a nuttiness and more texture; I'd definitely recommend it--not to mention the health benefits! I was a little confused by the listing of both a whole loaf of bread and five slices of bread--is the idea to use a loaf+5 slices, but I ended up using about 20 ounces of bread in total. Other than using multigrain bread, I followed the recipe exactly, and I am so glad I did! I will make this often...in fact, I am inclined to make it as soon as I run out (which, at the rate we're going, will be soon)! Thanks for this simple, wonderful recipe.
