I made this for my DH and he loved it. Next time I will only use one can of tomato sauce (too much tomato flavor for us). I also added bell peppers & about 2 cups of water. This is a keeper!

This recipe was great. It was my first time making Chili and I made a few changes. I used venison instead of beef and I added some bell pepper (2) and some fresh jalapeno's (6) and it was awesome!!!!

Nice, basic chili that isn't too spicy (so I can eat it). Very easy to prepare and it is great on a winter's day. I used 2-8oz cans of tomato sauce, 1-6oz can of tomato paste, 1-14.5oz can of diced tomatoes, 1-27oz can of chili beans. We added some cheese. Thanks.

This chili is OUTSTANDING! I have made chili all of my life (a bunch of years)and thought mine was good. I decided to try something different and used this recipe. It is the best I have ever tasted. I used 2-8oz cans of tomatoe sauce and 1-6oz can of tomatoe paste as suggested by someone else. I used diced tomatoes. I added 1/2 tsp cimmamon and 1 tsp of brown sugar at my husband's suggestion. I have made this twice in 2 1/2 weeks because its go good. I might suggest that you be sure and drain the grease from the ground beef. I did the first time and forgot the second time. It was a bit too greasey the time I didn't drain it. I have tried it on couscous, rice, bowtie pasta, hot dogs, with onions and cheese. It's easy to make and OH SO GOOD> I did not add the beans.

This chili is absolutely great! And so easy to make. The only thing I added was some diced green pepper, and some chopped green chilies, just because my husband and I like them. Even my daughter scarfed it down, and she normally turns up her nose when she hears there's chili for supper. It has a wonderful flavor...tell your father-in-law "Bravo!" (Today I'm sending some of the leftovers with my Dad to try...)

Meaty and delicious. Because I was serving a group and wanted leftovers, I added one jar Chi-Chi's Mild Salsa, two extra cans of beans: one kidney(drained) and one pinto, plus one extra tsp. cumin and one and a half extra chili powder. Everybody had seconds and there was hardly anything leftover. This recipe is a winner.

This is so delicious. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The only changes that I made were I increased the chili powder to 3 teaspoons and added a couple of dashes of ceyenne pepper for a little added bite and I did add 1 more can of chili beans just to stretch it a bit further. I started it on the stove top and let the flavors meld and then changed it over to the crock pot to simmer for a few more hours and the entire house smelled delicious. This will be our only chili recipe from now on. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I think the best Chili I've ever had. Even better than my mothers. The only thing I did differently was to use a quart of kidney beans, and a tablespoon of Worcestershire.

This was great. I got my chili-hating husband to eat two bowls! I did add more chili powder and a touch of cayenne pepper though. It needed a little more spice to suit me. It was wonderful!

It is so easy my 13 year old daughter made it. When she made it we agreed that it needs more chili power. It also seems kind of sour or tart so she added some brown sugar to give it a little something extra! Over all it is a great recipe!!
