This was a very goodsauce for the chops, but my SO and I thought that it needed a little more"kick" to it.So the next time I make this I'm going to add another 1/2 teaspoon more chili powder. As someone else suggested I left out the water, and I'm glad I did.And as for the cooking time I'm going to cut it back to about 5 hours or so,because at 6 hours it was very dry.Thank you for posting.

I made the tasty sauce the night before (I did not have fresh garlic on hand so I added 3/8 of a tsp of garlic powder
and had hubby throw the chops and sauce in the crockpot at noon....dinner was ready 5 1/2 hours later (I used 1/4 inch thin cut bone-in chops) with the tender meat just falling off the bone. I also added 1 1/2 tsp of chili powder to the sauce. Next time, I may cut down or omit the water, as another reviewer suggested. I served with rice pilaf, corn and rolls. I'm always looking for new ways to prepare bone-in chops; this was no-fuss...thanks for posting!

This is great - my whole family enjoyed it. I did not add the water b/c I put frozen pork chops (boneless) in the pot and knew they would kick off liquid - it worked great. Thanks!

Good and easy. Kids were happy. I omitted the water, the chops and slow cooker process added enough liquid to make a nice sauce.

This is a pretty good basic recipe. I made it as directed other than I browned the chops first (I always brown meat before putting it in the crock pot, helps keep it from drying out). I added the water and liked the consistency of the sauce. This serves 5 or 6 at our house... we only need 1 pork chop each

Made this for dinner tonight. Had a huge amount of pork chops from Sam's that were over an inch thick, I double the sauce and put on the stove to simmer. I added some water to make it easier they were delicious dh loved it. I called my mom and she came over and took half of it home for their dinner. Thanks for something different. Lisa

I used a boneless pork roast and sliced it into chops. Excellent! Skylar

We enjoyed the taste and ease of making this crock pot recipe. Followed recipe as directed. The chops had a good taste, however I too had the problem of small bones pieces once the meal was done. We had to be wary of picking out bone pieces for our two toddler-age children. Would probably use boneless next time.
