I agree that this does not taste much like the Pizza Hut sauce that I am familiar with, but this is still a great sauce. I double the recipe because the big cans of sauce are more economical, then freeze the leftovers in small portions to use later. The recipe does cover two cookie sheet sized pizzas without doubling. Thanks for posting it!

Good, easy, cheap, needed to uncover to get it to the right consistency. Next time I might cut down more on the lemon.

I chose to make this sauce to use on my first homemade pizza- and I'm sure glad I did! I agree with you, this sauce was so much better than Pizza Hut's! It was wonderful! I will be using this recipe again and again! Thanks!

This was the first time making homemade pizzas. We doubled the sauce, made 3 medium pizzas and froze the rest for later. This sauce was AWESOME!!! I haven't had pizza in about 5 years due to being lactose intolerant... made this with lactose free cheese for me and regular for everyone else. HUGE hit and will be regular at our house from now on. Thanks!!!

This is a tasty sauce. It is a bit too thin, though, so I added half of a 6 oz. can of regular tomato paste.

This is awesome. I agree that it may well be better than the original. The longer it cooks, the better it is. Thanks chef debo!!

This is a great sauce although I didnt think it was much like Pizza Huts. We got 2 pizza's and had some left over so I froze it for later. The spices are great, remember to remove the bay leaf before using it! Thanx!

Excelent sauce! I love the spices proportions. They are a perfect blend. I used 3 chopped garlic cloves (no garlic powder at hand) and it tasted great. The whole family loved it.
