Oh wow! We had this for dinner last night and it was fabulous! And easy too! I cut my chicken into chuncks and cooked it in a skillet (I prefer this over boiling). The casserole was super yummy! My husband kept saying that it reminded him of fried chicken. It was so easy to make that I made a second batch to freeze. This is now one of my favorite chicken dishes. We all loved it here! Thank you for an easy and incredibly delicious recipe!

YUM! We loved this easy and quick cassie! Makes a great weeknight meal, and, because I used canned chicken breast, it was even quicker! I served it up with Unemployment potatoes and Crackerbarrel green beans ... Terrific, KC! You posted another winner for me! Laudee

This is what I call a "good bones" recipe. It allows you to be as creative as you want to be and yet stands alone. I simmered my chicken soy sauce and water and then added a package of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix into the sour cream and soup mixture. Rave Reviews! Thanks

This is one of our favorite recipes, too! We call it Ritzy Chicken.
Sometimes, if I'm running short on time, I don't poach the chicken. Just place the thawed meat in the pan, top with soup mixture and crackers, and bake 30 minutes. It has always come out completely cooked and tender, so no worries about raw meat or anything there. I usually use Specialty Soup Substitutes - Cream in place of the canned. It's also nice to add some poppy seeds in, as well. Delish!

I have this recipe as well. Everybody I know loves it. The only thing that is different is my recipe calls for colby/jack cheese. You layer the ingredients just how they are written here but put the cheese between soup and crackers. Awesome stuff!! You can mix the sour cream and soup together if you want. Great with fresh deli whole chicken if you want to speed up the process.

I made this with fat free sour cream and low-fat cream of chicken soup and I omitted the butter. I thought this dish was very good. I might add a splash of milk next time.

I made this the other night and was it good. I did find that it could have had some more sauce so next time I think I will add some milk to the soup. We used cream of mushroom soup, added frozen artichoke hearts(thawed 1st) and some mushrooms & served it with a salad..wonderful meal! Thanks.

Can this recipe BE any easier and better?? I don't think so!! Even if you have never cooked in your life, this will not be a challenge! And it just tastes gorgeous!! I served it with green salad and tomatoes! Excellent
