I can't believe how simple this was to make. I made it more complicated by adding hot water to the jello/pudding before bringing it to a boil. It was like mixing hot water with flour when making gravy — nothing but lumps. I had to start over with cold water. Tasted great. Was inhaled by all. This was super.

I too have been looking for this recipe - my aunt used to make it. Also, she made another one that she called strawberry jello pie which used strawberry jello and vanilla ice cream. Does anyone have a recipe for that? mary

Thank you for this wonderful recipe! It was so easy and my family loved it. The only problem was it was gobbled up too fast! I will definitely be making this again.
