Nice and fluffy! This is a good recipe. I had a bit of trouble though with the directions. The bread didn't work, so I gave it another try fellowing the way my bread machine calls for and the bread turned out GREAT! What I did was put the liquids(water and oil) in first than added salt and than added the flour and sugar and made a dent in middle of flour for the yeast than closed the lid and hit select once and than clicked start and away it went and about 3hrs later I had a fluffy loaf of bread. Smelled so good in my house. Thanks for sharing KC!

I hestitate to rate this recipe since I did NOT follow the directions exactly. I had read a review where corn oil was used and it left a corn oil taste. That made sense to me.. I was out of vegetable oil so I used canola oil. I also had a oil taste to my bread. The texture was EXCELLENT just as promised. Next time I will use vegetable oil, or maybe try subsitituting part soft butter. I always 'proof' my yeast in bread making and this is the first time I saw it done in a bread machine.I REALLY recommend filling your machine's pan with HOT water while you get your ingredients together. This warm pan really helps with the yeast activation. Thanks for sharing this recipe. It's a keeper!!

This is a great recipe! I made it entirely in my machine....For those who don't know...2.5 tsps of yeast equals a packet, in case you buy your yeaast in the large jar, as I do. I will make this again and have passed the recipe on....thank you!!

Finally! A bread I can get my husband to give up his Wonder Bread (yuk) for! So simple to do in the ABM, and served with a nice steak soup on a cold evening - perfection! Thanks, KC!

This turned out great! The crust was crispy, but inside, it was lovely and soft! It went together wonderfully with my homemade soup. Yummy! Thanks for sharing!

I used this dough to make rolls and they were fabulous! I left the dough in the bread machine through the second kneading cycle, split into 12 portions and let rise for 30 minutes and then twisted into knots and let rise for 45 minutes. Bake time for the rolls was about 20 minutes. Will definately make again because these are so soft and yummy!

Delicious bread! I got a bread machine for Christmas, and this is the first recipe I've tried. I followed the manufactures' directions and added the liquids first, then the salt, sugar and flour. Then I made a dent in middle of the flour for the yeast. The bread had a wonderful flavor, as well at texture. The whole house smelt wonderful while baking. I'll definitely make this again. Thank you KC_Cooker!

I have made this recipe numerous times and the results are always perfect. I use veg.oil and after the first rise, remove from machine and form into buns.I vary the type of buns, sometimes adding cheese, or onions or dipping the buns into can milk & then sugar which is a favorite with everyone. Thanks KC for sharing a great recipe.

This bread is wonderfully soft with a perfect crust. Great sandwich bread. I toasted it and made a great egg salad sandwich. I made with all purpose flour and it was wonderful. This is a great everyday bread, the only problem is it dissapears too fast! Will be making often. THANKS!
