Superbly lemony: YUM! And we just loved the lemon syrup topping. I also loved the inclusion of yoghurt; used creamy Greek yoghurt. The only change I made was to reduce the rolled oats to 3/4 cup so that I could include 1/4 cup of flax seed meal, which added some extra nutrition and flavour, not that these were lacking in flavour. The flax seed flavour blended beautifully with the lemon. If you love lemon flavours, you really must try this recipe. Thanks, Susie!

So delicious and no one was the wiser that they had almost no fat. I used 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 flour as well as non-fat yogurt (all I had on hand). I also added a bit of zest right into the muffin as I love the tart flavor of lemon. The amount of sugar was just right — enough to complement the bright citris flavor but not so much as to over take it. Thanks Susie.

Great muffins! I love the little lemon bits in these. I used fat-free plain yogurt (as that's what I always have on hand) which was quite runny, plus quick cooking oats - I think this is why my muffins took longer to cook and the texture was just a bit gooey and rubbery. Will definitely use thicker yogurt and rolled oats the next time! But, even with the self-inflicted texture problems, I absolutely loved these. Not too sweet, super lemony, yummmmmy! Thanks Susie!

These are delicious!!! Nice soft muffins with the odd crunch of oats with a very refresing lemony flavour. I love how this recipe uses the WHOLE lemon. The only thing I changed was use 1 cup whole wheat and 1/2 cup white flour. I also didn't do the syrup - they don't need it. The one thing that confused me is in the directions it says to add natural bran which is not in the ingredients. However, they turned out fine with the ingredients as listed (without the bran).

Wonderfully refreshing muffins. Served for a late breakfast this morning and they were a wonderful pick me up. The lemony flavor is superb giving the muffins a very fresh and bright flavor. Thanks for a fantastic recipe. I will be making these again for sure!

These are out of this world! I ate 6 of them at once! I've never had muffins with lemon chunks in them but they were perfectly balanced with the glaze on top. I make my own yoghurt and that worked well. In place of the rolled oats I used oat bran since I was trying to use it up. Definitely a keeper recipe. Thanks!

Susie these muffins rock. They are so tasty. I loved the texture of the muffins and the glaze. The oats were a nice addition. I used 2 lemons as mine were very small. I also had to sub with vanilla cream yogurt, it was all I had on hand. The muffins were wonderful. They perfectly complimented our very spicy dinner. A new family favourite. Kudos for another great recipe.

These are terrific muffins, Susie! Because DH & I love the flavor of lime, I made the lime version & we loved it. I used vanilla flavored yogurt because I had it. I rarely use glazes on baked goods since I feel it's usually overkill, but review comments convinced me & I'm glad I was swayed. It was great! DH loves muffins & these have now joined our "rotation". Thx for posting.

I love lemon and these muffins are wonderful. The syrup brushed over the muffins when warm, oh my gosh! I had to taste as soon as they were cool enough to eat! Will be making these often! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUSIE!
