Well its not as good as the liquid chocolate I recently tried as Jacques Torres' shop. (Kidding.) All jokes aside, this is really really good stuff. The secret's in the addition of the pudding which gives the drink a creaminess lacking in most commercial mixes. The most important thing is to make sure the powders are well mixed and you have no milk powder lumps. A definite keeper.

Oh WOW! This is good. I used regular Splenda and did not have vanilla pudding mix so I used white chocolate. Put all the ingredients in the blender and blended until a nice powder consistency. This mixes well in hot water and is so much richer than the recipe I have used for years. Richer, no sugar and no fat...perfect!

Made this for my mother, who isn't able to have sugar at all. She loves it. We will try adding different flavors of pudding next time. She also adds sugar free flavored coffee syrups, her favorite is the roasted marshmeellow kind. Thanks for sharing this keeper!

I really enjoyed this mix. I've tried it with vanilla and with chocolate pudding mix. Both were excellent. I didn't miss the fat or sugar at all. Thanks.

I made this the other day for my mom and my friend who are both dieting. I gave it a try myself and WOW is it ever good! I haven't had cocoa in a long time because I'm unable to have so much sugar, but this is a great solution. We all used 1/3 cup of mix to a cup of water (they prefer milk, I don't) for a richer taste and threw a couple of mini marshmallows on top for an extra treat. Thanks for a great recipe!!

I can have hot chocolate again!! I never drink it because of the calories but this is my new favorite snack. A cup of this topped with some low fat Cool Whip is a guilt free treat! I have to admit, the Splenda leaves an aftertaste that isn't great but I just make sure my last swallow includes the Cool Whip, LOL. Thanks for posting!

Perfect! This was wonderful with erythritol. I am so throwing out all the sugar free, fat free hot chocolate packets- they are nasty. This is much better. I highly recommend using erythritol, it taste EXACTLY like sugar, but with no calories. I wish more people knew about erythritol then they might sell it in the stores without charging $7 a pound. I get it for $3.40 a pound at emeraldforestxylitol dot com.

This mix looks and tastes very close to the light hot chocolate mix I recently purchased! The little bit of vanilla flavour really makes this hot chocolate. I like to add just a tad more cocoa, as I like my hot chocolate nice and chocolatey!!
Just a note, instant nonfat milk powder works much nicer than regular nonfat milk powder.

I do think this is a whole alot better than the commercial product, but..... I am sorry, I just couldn't get pass the "dry milk powder" smell! I will drink the rest of the mixture to finish it off but I won't be making this again.
