Just delicious! I used golden Delcious apples and Miller's beer. They were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and the powdered sugar gave just the right amount of sweetness. Thank you for posting this and for being so patient!

These were great. I had my doubts about beer, but it was really good! I only got to eat about three (I used real sugar and the carbs were a no-no) and hauled the rest to the guy who donated the beer. He loved them! I did do things a bit different than apple slices. I diced them up because my apples were so small and I added more apples than it called for because I love apples (I used Granny Smiths). Great little treat, Chia!
