I made this last night and the only change I made was I used 3/4 of a green cabbage and 1/2 of a purple cabbage for color, and only 1/2 of a green bell pepper. This was a big hit with my family, so I'm sure it will become one of the famliy favorites. Thank you for posting. Rachel Castle

I cut the recipe down using 1 pound of cabbage, 1 small carrot,1 small red pepper. Same amount of dressing holding back a touch of the seasonings and 1 tablespoon sugar. I did add celery seed. A must in my cole slaw. Thanks dojemi!

Top of the charts coleslaw! We LOVED it! I never thought to add garlic or onion powder to my coleslaw. What a difference it makes! Thank you!

This was VERY good, the flavors blended beautifully and it was just creamy enough, my son loved it the most, he just kept asking for more.

SOOO GOOOOD! For once I followed the directions exactly instead of combining several recipes. This was not only really easy to make (apart from having a nearly broken food processor), it was much tastier than the coleslaw that I've eaten in restaurants and cafeterias. Next time I think I'll add just a little more pepper, though--but that's all. Thanks so much!

This would probably have been a very good coleslaw had I just trusted my instinct to leave out the raw onion but I wanted to follow the recipe and it was way too strong tasting. I would not use more than two tablespoons of onion if I were to try this again.

This was very good!! I used a bag of already shredded cole slaw mix so it was very easy. I used a little chopped onion spice in place of the onion. I ended up using about 1/2 c. of mayo. Reminded me of KFC slaw. Will make again. Thank you for the recipe!

WOW! This was a big hit at our family fourth of July picnic. I don't know why it took my 50 yrs to figure out that putting the prepared, bagged coleslaw mix in the food processor made it just right - no more big chunks of cabbage to pick out and throw away. I used yellow bell pepper for color, dried onion in the dressing and about 1/4 cup of sweet onion in the slaw. This is a keeper and perfect for topping off hot dogs. Thanks, Carole in Orlando

This was the nicest coleslaw I have ever made and I've made plenty over the years - definitely a keeper
