This is an EXCELLENT recipe...which I discovered last year as it aired on FOOD NETWORK. It has become a tradition in our household! Everyone enjoys it...cause it's so rich and as recipe poster mentions...a lil'sure goes a long way! I omit the currants for preference. You will NOT be disappointed if you like FUDGE. TRY IT!

I too saw this on Oprah for her holiday show with Rachel Ray. I took this to a holiday party and everyone wanted to taste beccasue they saw it too! It was easy and festive. I used craisins and pecans. Next time I want to try with rasins and opeanuts along with pb chips. Very versatile! Thank you for posting!

Fun, festive and FAST!!! - Perfect for the Holidays and great to "decorate" & bring as a little something - something to visits or to have about the house to bring out with hot bevies to guests... looks "special"...super sweet but that's fine by me around that special time of the year...
A WINNER!!! I did it pretty much as stated and garnished it with the "candied fruit cake fruit" that I got teased for buying this past Fall (I KNEW it would find a purpose!!!
) - Thanks suzy wonton & Happy, Happy to all!!! Also... With other garnishes and decor presentation it can work year round!!! YUM!!!
