I followed the recipe (minus the butter) and the result was pretty bland. It improved after I added some low-fat yoghurt, dill, parsley, caraway seeds and a bit of Dijon mustard. I think this recipe shoud be treated as a base - cook it as recommended, and then add things to it to improve the flavour!

This was wonderful Bergy, I served it baked halibut and roasted new potatoes. It was quick and easy and the mixture of the 2 flavors, oh my. Scott loved it. I think it would go with anything. Great dish again Bergy. Its a keeper. Thanks Dancer^.

Another kohlrabi newbie here! This is a great side dish - the kohlrabi seems to cut the "carottiness" of the carrots, and the carrots really enhance the flavor of the kohlrabi without overpowering it. The two compliment each other very well!

This was good but I don't think it was quite what I was expecting. The flavours blended nicely and the nutmeg was a nice touch but I found it rather bland. We like both vegetables. I might try to blend them together with another stronger spice. My boyfriend said he would prefer them seperately. Thanks for posting.

At last, the lonely kohlrabi has been shown much deserved dignity. 5+++++

Who knew kohlrabi was so sweet and wonderful!?! Thank you so much for broadening my vegetable palette Bergy. This is so good, if you didn't tell the kids what was in it-they'd eat it.

Very nice Bergy, as usual. I enjoy trying new(to me) vegetables and this was certainly simple to make. I added some fresh parmessan (I am a cheese monster)and it was perfect. Cheers.

A lovely combination of flavours. I always have my kohlrabi with butter and nutmeg, but had never thought to add carrots before. I had some sweet baby Chantenay carrots that needed eating and saw this recipe and I'm so glad I did. Thanks for sharing Bergy!

Wonderful! I am rather new to cooking/eating kohlrabi. These two veggies go so well together. Excellent flavor. I will make this again.
