I have eaten this often enough so it's about time I added my 5-stars with the rest of the reviewers. For a person who normally doesn't like cabbage which I had only ever found bland, this was a dish that got me hooked onto it. An added bonus is the nutrition-specs: it's low-cal, low-fat and zero-cholesterol.

Super! Served it with, of all things, an Indonesian dish, Daging Bumbu Bali #42436 by Pets. Great combo! The only thing I did differently was to par-cook the cubed potato in the microwave. I added a couple of tablespoons of fresh grated coconut. Mm Mmmm.

My entire curry cooking repertoire consists of an almost-edible Rogan Josh so it was with some shock I learned of my services being offered for vegetarian house guests. With low confidence, I followed this recipe to the letter with the exception of tipping in a teaspoon of turmeric by mistake - and my portfolio has now doubled! A subtle and delicious flavoured dish that my South Indian party guest praised highly. An EXCELLENT recipe!

A lovely dish, Varsha! I used napa cabbage as it's what I had, omitted the coconut for personal taste, but included (as always!) the coriander, and followed the remaining directions as indicated. Served with another favorite (Thai-Style Ground Beef), this was a great dish sure to become a regular. Thank you so much!

This is simple and so tasty. I had this for lunch this afternoon. I "loved" it! I used 1 tsp. of corriander powder and 1 1/2 tsps. of salt for this. This will be a regular on our table! Went very well with hot rotis. Thanks Varsha!

For anyone that is a cabbage lover such as myself, this is a must-try recipe with just a delicious combination of spices, this recipe has tons of flavor! I omitted the cumin seeds and added some cumin powder. I served it with burgers tonight, and it was enjoyed by DH and myself, thanks for sharing Varsha, we loved it!...Kittencal

A great recipe. Thank you. I used savoy cabbage the first time I made this as I had it to hand, and wouldn't reccomend it as it took forever to cook down. It was still great though and didn't stop me making it again.

The cumin in this dish gave it a lovely flavour, and the turmeric a lovely colour. I served this with paprika & garlic chicken & it was very tasty. I also slightly pre-cooked the potatoes before adding them to the cabbage mixture. Thank you for the lovely recipe, I think this would be even better if I had added coconut.

As i go on the endeavors of learning how to cook, I thank you very much for this recipe, it is wonderful, and my fiancee actually loved it as well, he is one hard person to please, and well needless to say, he ate every bit. Thank you so much!!

I don't often give 5 stars for a recipe, but I don't often try recipes that take me right back to grandma's kitchen. This is the most delicious healthy recipe ever, and SO economical. I only used one large potato, and I did add about 1/2 tsp of red chili powder. DH was really not thrilled with the idea of cabbage/potatoes for dinner, thinking it would be bland. He had seconds- now that's something!!!
Thanks!
