As a little girl, pickle and PB was my favorite sandwich!! I, like Kelly above, had them with the bread and butter type (sweet) too! This sandwich is really good toasted and, yes, the more garlic, the better!! Try it! It's great!

I absolutly have always loved PB&P. My family thinks I'm nuts for eating this combo. I tend to add a nice slathering of butter to my bread. YUUUM! Don't knock it til you've tried it.

I don't even have to make this from the recipe posting. I have already made them. You're right about the garlicy pickles--that is what I used. This sandwich is yummy as long as you like all the things in it. It brings back memories when I was young. I would eat peanut butter sandwiches with catsup, pickles (sweet and dill), bananas, and even potato chips. Loved them. I also like dill pickles with chocolate cake. Try it, you might like it!

No one beleives me that I love this recipe, but I truly do. I used to eat these in college. My favorite was to use bread & butter pickle slices, and I would sometimes add jelly as well. It sounds disgusting, but really if you like sweet and sour plus peanutbutter taste, you will like this.

One of my all-time favorites!! I love them with both dill pickles and bread and butter - depending on my mood. I haven't had one in years... thanks for the reminder! I've never tried them using pita bread but sounds delicious.

Yummy for sure and have been eating these since I was just a young one...bread and butter pickles for sure and a little mayo on the bread as well. Other family favorite was mayo, peanut butter and nice crisp lettuce...WOW..delish!!!

My hubby loves peanutbutter pickle sandwiches. He likes lettuce on his. I wouldn't try it for a long time. I was surprised at how good it really is.

I've been eating these since I was about seven years old. I thought I was the only one who liked them. Nice to know I have company. They are especially good with ketchup.
