Excellent recipe. Unlike most pork recipes, this one saw the pork delightfully moist--having been permeated with the flavors and moisture of the apples and their spices. I would recommend this recipe to anyone. It was superb!

My family loved this meal and I even impressed the inlaws. One thing different I did was marinated the pork over night in apple juice but other than that did everything the same. A family favorite.

I followed this recipe exactly and it was really yummy! I loved all the flavors together. The only thing was the pork was bland unless you got some of everything on it and then popped it inyour mouth. I like the idea of marinating it in apple juice overnight. I will try that next time.

This was great! Instead of using canned apples though, I cut up 4 large freshly picked apples and "fried" them with a little bit of butter, cinnamon and sugar. I also used Stove Top Savory Herb stuffing. It added wonderful flavor.

This meal was great.I used a 21 oz jar of apple pie filling , as it was all I had on hand , and added cinnamon to it.Otherwise I prepared it exactly as written. The flavors blended wonderfully. A keeper on my autumn menu. Thanks

Very good pork chops. My chops were bone in and thick so I brined them ahead of time and then followed the recipe. We enjoyed these.

I tried it and this has got to be hands down one of the best recipes ever posted for combining, apple, pork, stuffing and goodness! I made my own apple pie filling (1/2 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/8 teaspoon salt, 6 cups thinly sliced peeled and cored apples and stir until well mixed). I put about 3 or 4 apples from my apple pie mixture in the stuffing after it was done cooking and let sit on the stove covered. I didn't add the cheddar cheese or the ground black pepper on top of stuffing before putting in the oven. When this was done, I shamefully must admit that I stood over the stove and gobbled away!! I couldn't even tear myself away to get a plate and sit and eat like normal human beings do!! LOL. Also, the apples that stayed on top were half baked and of course, so I ended up with a bit of crunch in some bites, which I loved!! I brought some for lunch and I can't wait!!! Only thing I would do differently is not cook it for 40 mins. It was a tad overdone — I think 10 mins. less they would've been perfect!! Thanks so much for posting and this is definitely a keeper!!!

Great dinner! I made my own apple pie filling and just used some stuffing that I needed to use up. The kids enjoyed it! Great blend of flavors! Thanks, Kelly!
