Wonderful treat! Great brownie and the icing is a must! It all gets just a bit too sweet for us, but I would not omit the icing , but maybe even halve the sugar in dough, instead. I would also add some more bitternes to the dough with more coffe. Awsome!

I discovered I didn't have any shortening but I really wanted to try these, so I subbed another 1/2 c. of butter. This made an extremely dense, fudgy brownie but the taste was out of this world. I generally am not a fan of brownies and actually made these for dh, but I haven't been able to leave them alone! They will not be made often because they are definitely not WW friendly and I seem to have no willpower where these are concerned, but they are amazing!

Wowzers! I think coffee and chocolate is my new favorite combo! These brownies are awsome. So easy to put together, made them and let them sit while dinner was cooking. Waited a bit then frosted. Made a perfect snack before bed. If there were more than 5*'s you would have it. Thanks for a totally awesome recipe

What can I say but WOOHOO are these great! So chocolately and moist and between my husband and myself we have done away with half the pan and I made them yesterday! ACK! I actually used a french vanilla cappuccino mix and ya know what? I was pleasantly surprised. It tastes pretty darn good. I think if I thought they would stick around longer than 2 days I would have topped them with mini chocolate chips just for that little something extra. Make these! I promise you will love them. If not, send them to me! Ha, ha. Thanks for a great recipe.

Marg,
These brownies are absolutely divine!!!The only change I made was to use a favorite pan of mine which is a 11x9. These are easy to prepare with minimal clean up and FANTASTIC taste. A new favorite that will be made often. Thanks, Marg

Boy, these jumped right up to the top of my "Favorites" list! YUM! Takes just minutes to mix up, bake, and serve. Even though mine aren't near as pretty as your picture, Marg, I bet they taste just as good! Thanks for this easy and delicious recipe. Tis a winner for sure! Laudee

The best! I made this for a family event and it was a HUGE hit. My own family is already asking me to make this again. The only problem is that I am trying to diet, and this cake is WAY to tempting. BTW, an added bonus is that this cake is very easy to make.

Oh ME -Oh My! I will not be making these again any time soon...for the simple fact "I ate the whole thing". Really, these are great and I can't stay out of the pan. I absolutely love the icing. mmmmm-mmmmm-mmm!

Yummy brownies. Used about 1 1/2 c. sugar - made coffee flavor more pronounced. Frosting was delicious and SO easy. Will def make again. Thanks for sharing!

This is delicious!! I used a boxed brownie mix to save time; I did add the coffee to it but I don't think we could taste it. But the frosting... wow! Superb! It doesn't harden exactly, but you can touch it lightly without it sticking to your finger. It stays soft and fluffy tasting, and VERY coffee!
